Dr. Fritz Wetzel
Dr. Fritz Wetzel is a German and European Patent
Attorney and has practiced Intellectual Property law since 2002 with a focus on Chemistry related topics, in particular organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, plastics technology, pigments and dyes, liquid crystals, LCD and OLED´s, biochemistry, bioorganic chemistry, pharmaceuticals, process technologies, biotechnology and
medicine technology. He has long-standing experience in patent drafting, prosecution, legal opinions, license and other contracts, litigation, oppositions, and nullity proceedings as well as in trademark and design law.
After his successful studies as Patent lawyer, Fritz became very fast a Partner in a renowned Munich IP Law Firm. After five years he switched to a US law firm as Shareholder and established the German branch for the US IP law firm firm.
In 2023 Fritz founded BlackIP Legal.
Fritz is admitted to the European Patent Office, the
German Patent and Trademark Office, the German Federal Patent Court and the German Supreme Court for nullity proceedings. He is also a registered European Trademark and Design Attorney.
Werner Schwarz
Dipl. Phys., Patent Professional
Werner SchwarzStudies physics, chemistry and astronomy and was 16 years active in research and development and head of IP in the automotive area.
Since 2003 he is independent management consultant in patent law, organization, research, analysis, speaker at patent seminars and lecturer at DHBW Karlsruhe and CAS Heilbronn.
Werner is our specialist for physical and technical innovations. With his background as a physicist, he has a deep understanding of areas such as the automotive industry and related technologies. His ability to combine technical details with legal strategies makes him an invaluable advisor to our clients who operate at the interface between technology and law.
Martin Schwarz
Martin Schwarz is a Patent Professional. He studied technical physics and worked 3 years in research and development in photovoltaic applications.
After postgraduate studies to become a patent consultant, he started working as project manager for patent support in a management consultancy, organization, research and analysis. He is speaker at severall patent seminars
